Terms of use for customers
The rules for using the Bentorno app to collect stamps and rewards.
Last updated October 26, 2026
1Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use the Bentorno app to collect stamps and rewards. They are an agreement between you and Bentorno, run by the provider named in our Impressum ("we", "us"). You agree to them when you tick the box as you create your account, which also confirms that you are 18 or older. Using the app is free.
2What the app does
The app keeps your digital stamp cards. You join a business's card, show your Bentorno code when you visit, and the business's team gives you stamps. When you have enough, you get the reward the business offers. You can also read the updates businesses publish, and see your cards and history.
3Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send to it, so keep your email account safe. Give the name the businesses know you by: they see it when they scan your card. You can change your name and birthday in the app at any time.
Your account is for you alone. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else used it. You are responsible for what happens in your account only where you are at fault.
We send you only the emails the app needs, such as sign-in codes, and no marketing without your consent. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
4Using the app fairly
The app is for your own personal use. Don't:
- collect stamps or rewards for visits that didn't happen, or use more than one account to collect bonuses;
- let others use your account or your Bentorno code;
- try to get around the app's limits or security, or use automated tools to access it;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- use the app where sanctions laws that apply to you or us forbid it.
If you misuse the app, we may suspend or close your account (see Ending your account).
Reporting illegal content. If you see content in the app you think is illegal, such as a business's update, tell us at [email protected], with where it is and why. We look at each report, act on it, and tell you what we decided and why. If we remove content or limit your account, we tell you why, and you can ask us to look at it again.
5Businesses and their rewards
Each stamp card and its rewards are offered by the business, not by us. The business decides its card's rules, such as how many stamps a reward needs and when stamps expire, and the business gives you the reward. Questions or complaints about a card or a reward go to the business; we help where we can. We provide the app and are not a party to the business's offer.
Links in the app, such as to a business's social media pages, lead to other websites that we don't control.
6Our rights and your feedback
The app, its design and its content belong to us or our licensors; you may use the app as these terms allow. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Bentorno.
7Privacy and cookies
How we handle your personal data is explained in our privacy policy, and the cookies we use in our cookie policy.
8Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available and secure, and keep it up to date as the law requires. The app can still be interrupted at times, for example during maintenance or by faults beyond our control.
We may change the app for a valid reason, such as a new feature or a change in the law, at no cost to you. If a change makes the app noticeably worse for you, we tell you in advance, and you can delete your account.
We may change these terms for a valid reason, and tell you by email at least 30 days before a change applies. Changes that only benefit you or that the law requires can apply sooner. A change to your disadvantage applies only if you accept it; if you don't, you and we may both end the agreement on the date it would have applied.
9Liability
We are liable without limit for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under product liability law, and under any guarantee we give.
For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an essential duty: a duty that makes using the app possible at all and that you may rely on. Our liability is then limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.
These rules also apply to our staff and representatives. Your rights under the law, including your rights as a consumer if the app has a defect, remain.
10Ending your account
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in the app. We can end it with 30 days' notice by email, or at once for a serious reason, such as fraud with stamps or rewards. If we suspend or close your account, we tell you why.
When your account is deleted, your personal data is deleted as our privacy policy explains. The businesses keep their cards' history, no longer linked to you. The rules on liability and disputes continue to apply after the end.
11Disputes
If you are unhappy with the app, write to [email protected] first, and we will try to find a solution with you. Disputes go to the courts that have jurisdiction under the law. There is no arbitration. Nothing in these terms takes away the protection you have under mandatory law, including the consumer protection law of the country where you live.
We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12General
- We send notices to your account's email address. Email is enough wherever something must be in writing.
- We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over Bentorno; we tell you first, and you can delete your account.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters or major outages of the internet.
- Only you and we have rights under these terms; the businesses' offers come from the businesses.
- If a term is invalid, the others still apply, and the law fills the gap.
- If we don't enforce a right at once, we haven't given it up.
- We work to make the app accessible to everyone. If something gets in your way, tell us at [email protected].
- If a translation of these terms differs, the English text applies.
